BACKGROUND
Rural Coach (formerly Coach Approach Rural) was established in 2009 by Simon Gibson and Matthew Pickering who as rural bankers could see the need for the service for Rural New Zealanders, particularly for farming families who were struggling with succession planning and the ‘what next’ for themselves and their farm. Since then they have grown to be New Zealand’s leading specialist coaching / advisory service for rural New Zealand families and businesses.
THE BRIEF
Metro Marketing was engaged to create a premium, cohesive and symbolic logo and brand identity for Rural Coach. Inspiration for the brand was inspired by the rural environment, people connections and their three key coaching pathways.
IMPLEMENTATION
We created a minimalistic logomark symbolic to their business, with the geometric leaf shapes depicting a birds eye view of paddocks and representing their three coaching pathways. The brand features an earthy colour palette and natural photography that together deliver a harmonious design reflective of the rural industry. From this we went on to create the three sub-brands, cohesive stationery, a new website and the delivery of ongoing advertising, marketing and design support.
