How does outsourcing work?

When you outsource your marketing work to an agency like Metro, you’re essentially hiring a marketing manager and implementation team on an as needed basis. You benefit from insights that we develop by working with clients from right across the building industry and from other fields, as well as accessing marketing expertise that may be unaffordable for your business otherwise.

The key advantage for your organisation is that you get the skills you need when you need them. If you need full-time digital work one month, a videographer the other, and then a design or PR team in between, your marketing manager can manage your budget and ‘plug and play’ the right skillsets into your team as needed. This means one month your designer might have more to do, and the next month less, but you’re not footing the bill for the downtime. We work on a ‘engage as you need’ basis, which is one beauty of outsourcing – you pay only for what skills you need to keep your team driving daily results. We can work with an existing team, provide occasional advice, or operate as your full marketing department – working with an annual budget at an executive level to drive better returns for your organisation.

What size organisations do you work with?

Medium sized enterprises are our forte, as we find that this is where our clients derive the most value from our team. We’ve also worked with owner-operators, start ups and organisations with as many as 400-700 staff. It all doeends on the context – but we’re usually willing to explore options.
